Loss of a Spouse is a 2-hour seminar for people grieving a spouse’s death. It will be held Saturday, October 21 at Chenoa Baptist Church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The cost is $5.

The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and widowed men and women. They offer helpful insights on:
• What to expect in the days to come
• How to deal with the loneliness
• What to do with your spouse’s belongings
• Why it won’t always hurt this much
• And other practical help for dealing with the challenges of widowhood

Everyone who attends will receive a booklet with over 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life.

All widows are welcome to attend our bi-annual widow’s brunch for amazing food, music and a special message from a guest speaker.

We are currently studying verse by verse through I Timothy. All are welcome!

We will be attending Eastview Christian Church’s night of Worship on August 27th at 7:00.

We will have Sunday school as usual but our church service will be outdoors in the park behind the church!

We need volunteers to help with the food and the games. If you are interested, please let Pastor Jeff know.

The psalm for the day will be Psalm 139 and Darleta Gramm, the executive director of the Elizabeth Home in Pontiac, will be our special guest.
