Our Team

Jefferson Williams

Jeff is the pastor of First Baptist Chenoa and is responsible for preaching, shepherding, leadership, and vision casting. He and his wife, Maxine, joined the FBC family in September of 2018. They are parents to two boys, Joshua and Austin, and the cutest granddaughter in the world Carolelynn. He attended the University of Memphis and was led to the Lord through a college ministry.

He is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jeff and Maxine have been in ministry for over 20 years.

Jeff is an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) and hold a SATP (Sexual Addiction Treatment Provider) certification.

He also an adjunct professor for Moody Bible Institute, teaching classes that focus on the integration of theology and the social sciences.

He enjoys reading about The American Revolution, eating oatmeal butterscotch cookies, and playing with his granddaughter

Kim Resler

Kim Resler has been an administrative assistant at CBC since March 2019. She enjoys singing with the praise team and in the choir, and can sometimes be heard singing in her office. But don’t call her on it, she’ll get embarrassed! Kim also enjoys helping in the tech booth during service. Kim renewed her membership at CBC in 2019.

Cheryl Stevens

Cheryl has been a member of Chenoa Baptist church for 41 + years. She has served the church family in a number of different roles. Currently she serves as the Faith Community Nurse.
